Description
I made a funny pun in title. haha. Young Players. Fire Poile and Hynes. Forsberg walks. New coach. I'd prefer Trotz just because of his past history here.

Too much to give up for Zacha, for me.

I don't like Kakko enough to give up a potential 2023 lottery pick for him.

I don't see Bellows having much of an NHL future, but sadly this might be about the best NSH could get for Kunin.

So a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for Kakko just to have him play on the 4th line with Sissons?

He could go multiple places up and down that lineup, but I was just too lazy to reconfigure lines. You could give him a chance in a spot like Tomasino was this year, so just up and down the lineup. Honestly I think we could get him for just a first and a second, but added the extra third since the other picks are delayed and not in this year's draft.

I'm not sure where Kunin really fits, even though I like him and would take a shot at him.

I think the Isles would be more interested in Tolvanen. What about Bailey and Bellows for Tolvanen?

If I didn't think the Predators should rebuild I would say yes to that deal. The value is there, but getting a younger player like in the case Zacha would be more beneficial too the preds right now.

If Kakko were that cheap we’d keep him ourselves.

Contract or what I gave up to get him? I think the trade is enough, but I just don't know why NY would keep him. He will get better opportunities elsewhere and they could get something for him. I know this trade is not that beneficial to the Rangers right now, but might be in the future. Another team though would definitely be willing to send you some NHL ready players that could help you now. In my mind both are good options. The contract is pretty cheap, but it is more of a two year prove it deal. If I signed him for 3+ years I'd be willing to pay up to 2.5 mil.

I took the trade as we can’t afford him so that’s why we’d trade him, hence my response. I honestly don’t see any issues with him on the Rangers, he and Laf may not be getting a ton of points, but are playing better, trusted by the coach, being given more responsibility and I think responding quite well. I’m actually happy with how the two have performed thus far in the playoffs compared to the rest of the team.

I haven't watched any rangers postseason hockey, so I had no idea he looked better. IT just looks like he doesn't have a defined place there for himself yet, so that was why I made the trade. He might breakout in a different place.

If the Predators are not rebuilding, they can do Tolvanen+ for Beauvillier.
