He really hasn't on the Blues. He's actually doing really well in his own zone. He acclimated very very well. I'd much rather keep Leddy who fits the Blues rather than Dumoulin.

Swapping Marino for Myers would be an improvement for sure, but I don't think that improvement is worth giving up Garland and taking on Zucker's contract, especially if Van is retaining.

Leddy over Dumo and he hasn't been as bad as I thought. Still not great and shouldn't be playing a shut down role.

Regardless of the saved $50k, I think OP's proposal makes Vancouver worse. Upgrading from Myers to Marino is not worth downgrading from Garland to Zucker.

Only argument I will make for why it might work for vancouver: Zucker has one year left on his deal. This opens lots of cap space for 2023-2024 when Bo Horvat and possibly JT Miller will be on new big money deals
