I just have the sabres as a placeholder. I think this is the kind of value the oilers can squeeze out of the right team just cause NHL GM's love their RHD OFD's that can pot 40+ pts and QB a powerplay

I mean if risto garnered a 1st, 2nd and a 3rd pair dman. A GM will be willing to pay a price well beyond a 2nd. I am just taking into account that the oilers don't have leverage cause of their cap situation

Nobody thinks he "ticks all boxes". If he did, he'd be getting $9M. He's worth a 1st as there are very few defensemen who can bring the kind of offense Barrie does.
