I wouldn't do that if I was the rangers. Laffy is younger than Dach with more potential, lindgren is a proven middle pairing dman on a cheap deal and those picks are so/so. Caleb Jones also aint it, I like the Rangers prospects more

Hes younger? serious? we are talking 9 months in age difference here.
Theres also nothing suggesting Laffys ceiling is that much higher than Dachs considering the difference in team quality between NYR and CHI vs their actual production so far.

Dach 18;00 minutes per game Laf 13;30 behind Kreider and Panarin.

Dach may be getting more mins to help his production, but Lafs linemates are far far better players.
Youll score more points/generate more offense in 14mins with Goodrow/Kakko vs 18mins with Lafferty/Borgstrom.
I stand by my original point, theres no substantial backup to the thought that Lafs ceiling is that much higher than Dachs
