Ah yes. Dylan Garand. He’s going to be good! He is continuing to rip up the WHL. Best goalie in the WHL right now in my opinion. I would’ve liked to see what he could do on team Canada.
After 5 seasons with the Kamloops Blazers he has played 130 games, and has posted an average of a 2.49GAA, and an average of a .915SV%. Also, he has a career high of 2.04GAA, and a .928SV% in 40 games this season. That’s very impressive! He almost has as good of stats as The Detroit Red Wings 15OA first round pick this year, Sebastian Cossa. While Cossa has played fewer games in his career, he still was able to post amazing numbers right now. In only 94 games, (36 less than Garand), he has posted an average of a 2.04GAA, and a .924SV%. Cossa is have a good year too posting a, 2.33GAA, and a .911SV% in 42 games this season. He is another guy I wanted to see play for team Canada.
Right now, I would say Garand is better, but in the future, Cossa will definitely pass him. They are both very good goalies, and I believe they will both be good starters in the NHL. With that being said, since you have Shesterkin, you should trade us Garand haha. No need to be greedy!
