Guy weighs 150lbs. He is a long-term project. One hit from a veteran NHL defenseman and he will be flying thru the boards cartoon style.

DId you see him in the prospect game, he was supposedly really good, I still think he goes in the first two rounds because if all he needs to do is add weight that is relativly easy and his development shouldn't be long.

He needs to add a lot of weight. You can't safely gain 30 pounds in a few months. I honestly think he'll be drafted in 2023 instead due to his stature.

Um, okay, a team will pick him up highly, he'll get drafted, look at Debrincat and Caufield, cause he is not as skillfull people think he will go later on, but if he was we would be talking about a first round pick but instead people are talking about him not being drafted.

in two years he can put on the weight, nowadays scouts know to look beyond your weight 17 to make thei judgment. im sure it will affect him in tje upcoming draft, but i dont see him go beyond the second round. there is multiple exemple of players gaining lots of weight cause they develop a bit later muscle mass. (zeterberg gained 50, yes 50!, pounds in 2 years, thats why he was drafted so low).

Im not disputing his skill. His age and size, I am disputing that he will go in the 2nd. Regardless, no one really knows.

you are right! no one knows! 10 years ago i would have said no chance he goes in the second, now i have a strong feeling he will! cant wait to find out!

Small guys are fine, if they have the hockey IQ to keep them out of trouble. Like my guy, Eklund. He could see hits coming 5 seconds before they came and he dodged some surefire highlight hits. It's possible.
