The second and the fourth are from a deep draft so you probably would have gotten someone better than joseph.

Honestly just realized Tampa sent a ‘24 4th, not ideal. That said even moving the 4th up a year and adding a 2nd I’m stil not sure if that makes up for eating 11m or whatever it is for those two contracts.

Your team is rebuilding and russel is a ufa after this season so you would only really be taking on kassians 3.2 million and i have heard that dj smith likes the way kassian plays.

Yeah Russell wouldnt be his entire 1.25m and same with Kassian's 3.2m this season but the 3.2m per for the next 2 seasons is still tough. After Dorion PAID a 3rd to take on Hamonic's contract I wouldnt be surprised if he would have pulled the trigger on something like this but Arizona got two 2nds for taking one year of Stralman at 5.5m so eating as much money as there is between Kassian and Russell would hopefully return more than just a 2nd.
