Your first two trades are absolutely reasonable value. But if you were able to watch more Ducks games, you'd realize that Carrick and particularly DesLauriers are worth a lot more to Anaheim than monkey points. Even as a UFA, DesLauriers is worth a third. I hope that Verbeek is smart enough to re-sign him.

Typically guys that don’t put up points do not get much return. Teams are getting cheap with draft picks. I could see TB offering up a third. Not sure who else. Colorado?? If they have any picks left.

I agree completely with OldNYI. I would gladly keep them if that's what the return looked like. Des in particular. It's worth keeping him and forgoing anything worse than a third just to insure some protection for the kids for the rest of the season.
