My ideal Hughes line.

One physical, puck-retrieving, board monster, who can take key face-offs (maybe a righty Landeskog)
One maximum skill/speed/possession guy (basically Bratt)

When Power left, Hughes really showed he can be "the man" in that offense.
But you know who got serious minutes and looked damn good with Power out?...Ethan Edwards.
He is like a smaller Siegenthaler but with a bit more nasty.

That would be great, but I don't think its a priority to got and get a sniper.
Those deals often end badly.
Goals come from a lot of places and its not as transferable a skill as many think.

Look at the top lines in NHL today. Or look at top scoring lines.
How many have a Laine, Boeser, or whatever you'd think of as a "sniper"?

Just someone who has a preference to shoot over pass. I like Bratt but his preference is always pass over shoot, which you need some of but Hughes needs to play with someone who will shoot over pass
