Angry Detroit fans incoming. Value is fine IMO, perhaps slightly tilted in Detroit's favor? Tough to say though. Detroit laughs at that though. He's their 1D of the present and future.

The values is too low for Detroit. Only interesting pieces are Girard and Barron. The first is going to be late and so is the second.

That's fair, hence why I said it's tough to say on the value. Given he's destroying everyone on an ELC, I agree that it would have to be an enormous over payment to even get the discussion started.

As a Detroit fan yes there is now way Detroit trades Seider for this. Adding the line above makes it a whole better I'm not going to get angry at someone who thinks that high of Seider. By admitting the trade won't happen and the only reason he is there he is someones favorite player not on his favorite team does make it better.



What if Seider and Makar switched situations? What if Seider came onto a team that was starting to contend Makar's first games were playoff games. Seider first games were on a team that had been on one of the worse teams in the league for the past couple of seasons. No one expected Detroit to be outside the bottom 5 and as it looks now they might finish outside the bottom 10.

Just as AV's cherish Makar, Seider is becoming the same in Detroit. Not there yet, but has the making of a future star for many years to come.

Try more like Newhook++ and or Byram for starters, Girard+Barron+2 late 1st and 2nd round pick is nowhere close enough for Moritz Seider he's already an elite franchise player for Detroit.

I don't think either side would engage in a Byram/Seider trade, but I get your point. Realistically it would probably cost a few more 1sts
