Unless Calgary is filling a hole created by moving Monahan I don't think it happens until the off season. Last night Ruzicka played at 3C and was good enough but I think the Flames need to bring in a true 3C push Ruzicka to 4C and then they can move Monahan, this is probably find value at this point, I have some doubts that Monahan accepts this trade but I think you've put together a good enough scenario here to move him.

He can't skate! He would have the same problems as Monahan as a C. Love his defensive game but his ability to cover wingers mistakes and drive play from the middle of the ice would be seriously lacking. It would be like when Lucic was centering a line two years ago. The problem with the Flames bottom 6 C right now is that there is no one that drives the play up the ice, if they get sheltered starts that's great and they can maintain a strong cycle and wear down the other team. If they get trapped in their own end it's for a really long period of time and usually leads to a good chance, icing or a penalty. They need someone who can maintain puck possession in transition and can relieve some of the Dzone starts from Lindholm

Look at his advanced stats, he is not good in anything, he’s average on the PK and that’s his best attribute.
