There are 9 100% untouchable guys at this dead line, and Byram is one of those 9. It cracks me up how all the CF pundits push this narrative that the Avs need to massively overpay for short term guys. Like the leafs fan that runs the MHH site that was screaming the Avs HAD to get EK65 and they should give up Makar, OTT 1st and more. Could Byram be traded sure for a young cost controlled elite player but it sure the hell isn’t for a 28yr old guy that would plays on the Avs 2nd line and they had zero chances of re-signing him.
