If the Canucks want to re-tool, then I like that you've done here.

Might be asking a bit much for Boeser and might have to add a little for Marino, but overall I think your values are pretty close. It would be really nice if we could squeeze either Helleson or Barron out of COL as part of that trade by either removing the 2nd and or Jost or adding an additional piece. With that said IF COL was willing to part with Byram I doubt they will want to part with another young defenseman. Big risk, big reward trade with Byram.

Byram for Miller isn't happening, And with the Caps cap space curious how they can even afford Boesers $7,500,000 QO let alone him in the 7x7 range.

Pens don’t trade Marino unless Letang gets extended. And don’t think that will happen until the offseason. And I still think they keep Marino. But he won’t be traded now for sure. He’s their safety 1st pairing RHD if Letang doenst resign.

I don’t think Vancouver does a JT Miller for Byram deal either. Not unless they get his medical reports and their Drs ok it. And the players Union doesn’t like to let medicals get out there.

I would think, in my opinion, if it was Avs and JT Miller trade. It would be Jost, Justin Barron, 2023 1st and maybe even S.Behrens.

I’m sure every Canucks fan would be ok with trading for Byram. But teams don’t trade for injured players. Especially injured prospects. Like never. Like never ever.

Again, a big reason is cause the players Union doenst let the medicals get out there and known. Cause it would set a president. And teams would be requesting every players medicals before every trade.

And the player would have to ok that too. I think it would violate HIPPA if Byram didn’t say ok, Vancouver can check my medical records.

And Vancouver wants nothing to do with a player that’s been injured the whole season. Even if he’s the top prospect in the NHL.

avs are not trading Byram, its nonsense
If he is hurt/recovering avs are not a scum bag organization trading a player who is recovering, one that they are support 100% and providing him everything that ne needs
if he is recovered ready to play, they are not trading an impact Dman going into he playoffs

This whole byram and Miller thing is just nonsense, Cancuks fans take the idea of them being interested in byram as some sort of trade framework, 31 teams are interested in byram, doesnt mean hes available

Right. Cunucks wouldn’t do it either. No prospects get traded while hurt. Like never. Like never ever. No team is interested in a prospect that has been out all year. Even if he is the top prospect in the NHL.

I’m sure the fans would be ok with it; but no organization would.

And mainly b/c the player Union doesn’t allow medical records to get out there.

It’s what held up the Eichel deal. The other organization would want to see his medical reports and their Drs ok it. And the players Union doesn’t like to let medicals get out there.

Bryam would have to Ok his medical records to be looked at(b/c HIPPA laws and the player unions). Just like Eichel had to. And Eichel had to fight with the players Union to allow it.

Like I said, I would think, in my opinion, if it was Avs and JT Miller trade. **if**; which is unlikely anyways: It would be something like Jost, Justin Barron, 2023 1st and maybe even S.Behrens. Neither side would be interested in Byram. The Avs wouldn’t want to deal him and the Cuncks wouldn’t be interested without looking at his medicals(which they would never get). We agree my man.
