Description

Oshie is back in the lineup and Mantha I believe has been skating, so it seems like they are finally getting fully healthy in the no so distant future. However they are the most vulnerable to drop out of a playoff position. Columbus won today and move within 8 points of Washington. I don't think any team catches Washington because I believe the Caps just have to play around .500 hockey to maintain their spot. They are mediocre at home and pretty good on the road. The PowerPlay hasn't been as deadly as expected. With the weapons they have, you would expect them to have a Top 10 power play not a 26th place PowerPlay. Goaltending is alright, but it's not the caliber level as other elite teams. A conisistently healthy lineup in the future could determine if this team is still able to contend or if they should head into a retool or rebuild.

I like Laviolette but I feel like he is using bad strategies. He broke up the Ovi - Kuzy - Wilson line for a while and it didn’t work why did it take u
Him so long to put it back together, why do they pass it back for entries on the PP, that’s a strategy for a fast team not the caps. Why does he p it Carlson on the PK he suck’s defensively. I like him as coach but he as been using terrible strategies for the team. I think that caused them to start to lose and now they also have no confidence

No I agree you can’t fire the Coach but I don’t think they can make any moves that will fix the problem. They need to find a way to win with the talent they have or they will lose
