Also we can afford to keep Koskinen this season, he’s playing well the last 6 games and is playing better than Smith, why would we spend almost a 1st in value to dump him. They get robbed.

I’m assuming you changed it up and it still doesn’t work. Konovalov is our best prospect, we will see his development through. We also just don’t need to trade Koskinen like I said. Totally seems like a lateral move skill wise aside from cap hits.

You don't get exactly what you want in a trade while also charging for salary coming back. If there's no term, that's usually just a courtesy. You either take cap back, or no trade takes place.

Assuming Allen even nets a 2nd and 3rd, that includes Koskinen coming back.

I just don’t see Allen as the answer sorry, at least for this price and Skinner is our best rookie goalie, Kono is the best goalie prospect we have. I don’t think we can do that
