Varlys got more value than just Mikko and the pick. Plus Yamo doesn’t really work in Edmonton’s system

1. Nahhhh. Is Varlamov in the Vesina conversation? Didn't think so. Yamamoto and a first? Koskinen is that much of a negative deal. Scrap that one for sure

2. They are woth more than that. Mayfield will probably end up being a few seconds or close to a first (I think they keep him) Clutterbuck gets probably a second/3rd + low end prospect. Parise won't get moved.

3. Why white? Awful contract. Not like he's going to be LTIR forever. Didn't he play tonight? Not sure what the point of this is

I refuse from an EDM perspective. Varlamov is a solid goalie and likely still starter quality but there isn't a goalie on the market that I give a 1st for- Varlamov is no exception.

White is not a positive asset.
