Seems like an overpay for a year and a third of JT Miller.
(I’d do this for TJ Miller. Way better in the locker room after losses…)

The Bruins don't want JT that bad and would be stupid to move Lysell in any trade unless it brings elite talent back with term. Bruins basically have 3 untouchables - Lysell, Swayman and Lohrei and they should not be moved unless my first statement is met.

Miller is an elite talent who has a great contract for this season and next. Not the most term but better than most available players at the TDL

I should re-phrase my definition of elite as I don't really place Miller in the top 50-75 players in the NHL. Is he good...you bet, is he elite to me, nope. If he was that elite, the Rangers would have never moved him to Tampa and Tampa wouldn't have let him go for a conditional 1st.

What more does he have to do to be a top 50-75 player? He’s been a PPG for the last 3 seasons, top 10 in scoring this season, plays C and Wing, solid defensively, great on the PP, kills penalties (not the greatest at it but still does)

Let's look at the trade...not as trade value for player but value to the Bruins for cap
Let's assume the Bruins think they aren't doing much this season....so in effect they would be trading for one season of Miller.
I think the Bruins would 100 times better off, keep DeBrusk this season, not QO him, not trading for Miller and keeping all their picks. So in Bruins would have the Miller cap of 5.6m to find another player this summer.

I am saying 50-75 player - that includes D men. Yes that is not an elite player. He is a very good play, but he isn't elite. Sure if they are landing Eichel, perhaps they include Lysell in the trade, but not Miller
