1. Holl is still better than Z
2. Taxi Squad is gone
3. Isles aren't moving Bellows for Holl
4. Bellows wouldn't even clear waivers

If this is TDL taxi squad doesn't factor in - team can carry more than 23 on the active roster if it's under the cap.

That being said, I think the value isn't terrible if the Isles recoup a 2023 2nd for Bellows. He predates Lou so there's no loyalty there keeping him in the lineup, and he just doesn't seem to live up to what Trotz wants out of him. He's still only 23 so I don't *love* cutting bait with him, but I wouldn't be heartbroken.

The Chara-for-Holl part doesn't really work because Holl plays the right side and the Isles need guys on the left. If Dermott's on the board, the Isles take it; I think it still works if TML just throws in one of their AHL LD to give the Isles a body for the last 6 weeks after the deadline.

Dermott is useless to the Hawks, they are way too deep in players/prospects at the LHD position that aren't bonafide 1st line players. Dermott's cap hit would like be viewed as a cap dump as such by the Hawks. I get he might have some value to other teams, but just doesn't to the Hawks.

De Haan is likely worth a 2nd or 3rd, but if we have to take Dermott back for cap purposes then definitely a 2nd if not a 1st; that 3rd round pick would need to be upgraded as such.

So you have Hagel for Abramov and a late 1st; I think the Hawks clearly pass on this for obvious reasons.
