Didnt mean to insult, I am just saying were not buyers at the deadline, we do not need a 2nd Jake Allen when we could use our draft picks instead and maybe hit on a gem, but Edmonton's main need is goaltending.

I think the Oil trade for a goalie on TDL, this ACGM is for the off season. I'll predict Price gets trading in the off season and the Habs will need a goalie to "compete" for the short term while rebuilding for the long term, stacking up top 5 picks with a weak goalie duo of Mrazek and Allen.

I doubt Price waives his NTC from his interview done a few weeks ago. The Habs also have many goalie prospects to consider before bringing in a veteran. The Habs have always tried to remain "competitive" while trying to get better picks, and that has not done us any well in the Bergy era. We need a full scale rebuild where we rely on drafting, and hopefully a skills team that Gorton can hire while using what we already have.

I still believe that IF Price recovers, he can have a few more good seasons in him, but if he does not, at least his contract helps us hit the floor.
