It's pretty much everywhere, but you're gonna say it's fake news and all because you personally don't like the idea.

What I find funny in all of this is that whenever Friedman, Dreger or Seravalli or any big name in hockey media report something that "advantages" or something positive about the Habs, people are gonna question it, laugh at it, say there's no way in hell that it is true, etc. But if those same journalists say something like "I think Jeff Petry will cost a 1st rounder to dump" people would assume it's true, won't question and we would see this claim all over this website. Double standards.

Just to be the Devil's advocate, I will say that even that sometimes those real insiders get their words twisted by rumors sites looking for clickbaits.

But in this case, it has been reported mainstream that 12 teams were interested in Chiarot at some point and that the price will be the same as Savard's deal last season.

Those insiders (sportsnet, TSN, RDS issh) wouldn't report crap without at least 2 sources and destroy their reputation on witch their careers are based on.

Yeah, 100%, but I still stand by my statement. There is blatant double standards when it comes to Habs rumours.

If you dislike Friedman, it's your right, but someone not admitting there are more hints that the Blues are interested than the opposite is covering their head in sand. As you say, we shall see, but even if he goes to another team doesn't mean the Blues were not making a push.

Quoting: mokumboi
The claim had nothing to do with hints. It had to do with factual information, reports, claims, serious interest, premium prices, so on and so forth. There is none of this. NONE. Even the so-called "hints" are continually misrepresented here, pumped up to the sky. And I have proved that today beyond a shadow of a doubt with actual facts and evidence.

The prosecution rests, your honor.

Now Seravalli thinks the Blues should find a new partner for Parayko...

You will never guess his suggestion 🤣 :

3 insiders are pointing at the writing on the wall.

You can fight it, but Chiarot in STL makes sense.

Still not a report. Still unsupported wiggle word jibber jabber. I have literally proved all these claims of reports were nothing of the sort with irrefutable evidence, and still you persist as if you invented reality. Good luck with all that.

You decided to stay blind until it's actually happen.

It's goes against the whole concept of AGM, but fine.

Muh huh. When you actually find a REPORT, be sure to post here so I can eat my crow. So far, it only seems that you sadly do not understand what a report is. But you just cling to your delusions, and we'll all see soon enough how that works out for you.

You dont understand how insiders journalist work.

Of course they will never state that "Armstrong called Hugues sunday night at 11h30 to offer his 1st round pick for Chiarot ".

That’s not how it works.

But they are connected to people giving them the informations about talks, which they report. And they make very good salaries out of it, because they don't say BS. Sometimes it happens, sometimes negociations fail. Another reason why they are rarely définitive in their reports.

Soooo sources, credibility and carefull with words. Put that on your list.

Good night!
