NSH is easily giving up the two most valuable players.

That's still debatable at this point

Even if Phillipe Myers and Glass bust, their potential is still currently worth more than either a 36 yr old rental backup or a significant cap dump.

Myers isn't that big of a cap dump, he's actually playing pretty well this season

But all the Habs fans who want two 1sts and a top prospect for Petry keep saying how a defenseman is playing this season is an anomaly, and doesn't matter smirk

In all seriousness though, it's nice for Myers that he's been alright this season, but he's still not providing $6M in value - especially to a team that would be putting him on the 3rd pair. Plus, there's still two more years on his deal after this one to worry about. NSH didn't move on from Ellis just to essentially swap him for a lesser defenseman and Halák.

No, but the Canucks aren't paying to dump Myers at this time

Fair, and there might be a team that values Myers, if they do choose to move him (the OP's ask still seems unreasonably high to me). NSH is a team that wouldn't have any interest though.

Does Nash have interest in boosting the right side D? Maybe not Myers because the cap hit understandably.

If they're looking to buy at the deadline (which seems unlikely at the moment), it's possible they might bite on an upgrade on Benning for the 3rd pair. It would have to be a UFA, as Phillipe Myers is there for next season, and 3 RD wouldn't be the top priority on Poile's shopping list anyway(a top six winger to boost Johansen's line, a vet 4C rental, a backup goalie upgrade, and a #7 LD that ensures Ben Harpur never leaves the pressbox again are all greater needs).

To summarize: no, not really.
