I'd like to hold onto my draft picks in 2017 mostly because I want to be active during the draft but I wouldn't be opposed to moving them or a player/prospect for Smith.

Is Orlov available? I'm shopping some of my prospects for a mid 20's LHD, and Orlov fits the bill.

Im open to any of things you mentioned but do you have a starting point? Like does getting Orlov make Chabot more attainable? Stone for Smith+ work? I have no idea what prospects you have either.

I was thinking more of a pick plus a prospect for him. I'll bring them all up so it's easier too see. And no Chabot is still completely off the table.

Yeah I understand that but I want you to know where I'm coming from too. Brown was the 11th overall pick last year and is my second best prospect behind Chabot.

There is a bit of a gap in the talent between those two and the rest. I remember the original offer was a first and cracknell. I could do a second, a sixth, and Cracknell or if you want the first and a B prospect there would have to be at least 1mil retention. I don't mean to leave you hanging tonight but I'm headed to bed so I'll get back to you tomorrow

Woops I didn't realize I left Offensive LD in the description, I'll take it out in the morning. I was interested in Yandle before I got Orlov but Orlov fill the "Offensive LD" for me and he's younger and on a better contract so I'm going to have to pass.

Sorry can't do 1M retention on Smith's contract. He's a legit top 6 forward and is only 26 years old. I could do the 1st and Cracknell but definitely no retention.


Edit: Cracknell is insignificant so he could be removed if you really wanted and replaced by another lesser player. The 1st rounder 2018 is a must for me but if you push it as far as 2019 I would need an additional pick or else it would have to be a good prospect instead of picks. If not either, than I need a roster player of equal value coming back. Derick Brassard? He's your 3C and you'd be getting a 2RW.

Smith for 2nd 2017 + 2nd 2017 + Dzingel
Smith+ for 1st 2018 + Cracknell
Smith+ for 1st 2019 + Cracknell + 4th 2017
Smith+ for 1 Prospect Chabot or Brown
Smith for 1 roster player Brassard/Turris/Tanev etc
