Take out the 3rd and add Abruzzeze may work. If not, throw Robertson and a 1st for Hagel, and deal Dermott to another team for a mid round pick

Abruzzeze isn't a good prospect. He a 22 year old sophomore in college playing against 18 year old kids. He's two years too old to be in college. He's supposed to win the hobey baker winner when your competition is 2-4 years younger than you.

You say freshman like he was the same age as everyone else. He wasn't. He was a 20 year old freshman.

Is 41 points in 31 games good for a 19 year old playing college hockey good? Just curious

He's 22! He started his freshman year at 20...NOT 19. He's about to be a 23 year old junior and them 24 year old senior. You're supposed to beat kids 2-4 years younger.

EDIT He might be 6 years older if he stays. 24 vs 18

He turned 20 in June that year well after the season ended so he was 19.

This is wrong. He's in the middle of his 2nd season. He's already 22. So last year (his freshman year) he was 21. He was 20 before his freshman year start. Just count to two and you'll get it.

If he stays to be a senior...he'll be SIX years older than the 1st rounders being drafted in the NHL

Bro, he's still a 22 year old sophomore and nothing I said was wrong. If you want to give him a break then go ahead. He's not enough

You do realize 90% of scouts have him as a B+ prospect. The other 10% is B. He’s a good prospect that you’re undervaluing. Look at Adam Fox who was an overager in college putting up ridiculous numbers. It just means their game is more mature and closer to the NHL than others. It’s rare to find 18 yr old who tear up the college scene, hence why they’re top 15 picks majority of the time.

he was legit 20 starting his first season in college

"Late in May, the just-turned 21-year-old Abruzzese was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) rookie of the year after scoring 44 points (14 goals and 30 assists) in 31 games. His points-per-game average of 1.42 tied him for second-highest in the NCAA. Chief among his skills, according to those who know him, is his brain."

He’s not an elite prospect by any means, but he is easily one of the best players in college hockey, it’s not his fault he’s older, he’s dominating as he should. He also was one of USA’s top players at the Olympics and with his intelligence he should translate well to pro hockey
