Eh, I'd rather have McMichael. I don't mind Hoglander but McMichael is a primary center outside of this year, which I find more valuable position-wise than Hoglander.

Our top prospect is not for sale at all, and even if you were to try and pry him from DC, there's no shot you're getting him with Nils

And Hoglander should be a legit top-6 forward & is already getting quality NHL experience.

I don’t like Bowness either, but he’s not the reason Harley hasn’t been able to fully take the next step into the NHL yet. Does he still have a high ceiling? Of course, but every time he’s on the Stars roster, he looks timid, scared, hesitant, and unsure of himself. He needs to work on the mental side of his game, and that’s got nothing to do with Bowness.

It’s your opinion whether or not the Stars should make the trade, but the value is fine.

The only thing that I don’t like about this trade is that it destroys our defensive property pool, but in the same time it really strengthens our forwards.

I’d do it if this year’s draft they draft a lot of dman (is this year’s draft heavy on dman?).

Not the biggest Harley fan, but I see the upside. Only needs to tap into it.

I wasn’t even referring to the trade. We have a bunch of LHD so it makes sense. I do agree he needs to work on the mental side of his game but I feel like asa he became a Stars prospect he started to change his game to be more defensive and that just isn’t him. I do agree it’s on him to find that in between where he can use his skills without being a liability. It just feels like our front office and coaching staff is our way or the highway and doesn’t work with them on finding that in between. I could be wrong. Val looks pretty good in Colorado. Rig and Campbell got their heads on right when they left. It’s a two way street. Good teams get the most out of their players
