Easy no from hawks that first will be extremely late and hagel is better then Joseph and Foote and is younger then Joseph and same age as Foote we could easily get better from someone else

TB acquiring Hagel should be illegal.

They don't need more good players with cheap contracts and term.

Let someone else win for a change.

If Tampa can have someone on ltir until the playoffs then sure. More than likely they just get Crouse and possibly an RD upgrade/better depth, but if they could pull Hagel off with thks deal, great. While Hagel is undoubtedly getting a lot of interest, he's only played at this level for one season really, and while his numbers(and especially contract) are appealing, i don't see Tampa paying the steep price Chicago reportedly wants. If he was available, I'm guessing that Tampa would need to offer their 1st, 3rd, one of Joseph or Foote+one of their best prospects(Finley, Thompson, Alnefelt, Koepke maybe etc) to have a shot in the bidding war. Not sure if giving up all of that is worth it for Hagel, but if Brisebois thinks he's the best replacement for Killorn or Palat moving ahead, so be it.
