CHI should do this in a heartbeat. My concern is why the Bruins do it when they already have Ulmark and Swayman. I think the pick is more important to them.

I think the Bruins need a proven starter with playoff experience, and in terms of what they give up, I guess I'm basing this on what The Coyotes got for Darcy Kuemper. I thought about maybe making the offer a 2nd and a 3rd, but I think Chicago can get a 1st for Fleury, especially if they retain half his contract.

If the bruins move a 1st for a UFA goalie it basically says to the current goalies you suck - there is no way they move a 1st for a goalie. They don't see that as the issue with their team, they need a top 4 d man and a 2nd line center. Even listening to Sweeney the other day, he believes the top 4 LD is the priority over anything else.

I don’t think Chicago gets a 1st from anybody for Fleury. Not to say he isn’t worth it because he is; I just don’t see it happening.

I could see a 2nd along with a solid goalie prospect and maybe another piece but not a 1st.
