I believe its because Hamonic isnt fully vaccinated. Or is he idk lul.

He said he was but Benning and Green back in November said he will be soon. But 0 updates since then and it seemed every time Canucks went to US he was shipped to the AHL

And its causing headaches for the canucks organization to the point where this probs would be accepted.

But then why does Toronto want him. I dont even think he could legally play for us as Ontario is more strict than Vancouver I believe. Then again even if he is double vaccinated the issue comes with his play as he has been a non-factor so far and the injuries and outside issues have not helped.

Also JR is the type of guy to do this to bring some toughness to the Canucks. But with the weirdness of the Hamonic situation I cant see us doing it per outside forces.

Hamonic is practicing with the team and is a game time desicion for the Canucks-Leafs matchup tomorrow. I'm pretty sure he's 100% vaccinated now it was weird at the start of the year. I could see Toronto wanting him as a shutdown guy with Muzzin.
