Giroux is reportedly going to be traded after his 1000 game in Philly. I do not know what GMs value him as of right now but Nashville is one of the few teams with cap space to absorb his contract for not too much cap in return. They could give up any young player and/or pick they wanted in order to get him. He has a complete no-move clause so the only way he would end up here is if he wanted to come. This means that press fans wouldn't have to worry about him only being a one-year rental, he wouldn't go anywhere that he wouldn't resign too. If the already very good preds are able to give up only picks and young players for Giroux then they would be far and away my pick to win the cup.
