True - he has roughly 2nd Rd value. The OPs proposal was Kravtsov + 1st + 4th, so approximately 1st + 2nd + 4th equivalent. A better offer is likely Kravtsov + 1st + 3rd.

Performance bonuses are only on ELC and 35+ contracts so there would be no bonus carryover to next season with these trades.

I'd imagine that a deal for Toffoli would start with Montreal asking for Lafrieniere instead of Kravstov. They've reportedly checked in on Lafrieniere and it's been reported as well that New York has said that if Lafrieniere can't fit into their top 6 on the right side then they'd consider moving him - might make more sense to move him for a proven right shot top 6 guy to play the right side in the top 6

If the Rangers are at 80m cap in 21/22 and have to pay 5m in bonuses in 21/22, the Rangers only have 1.5m to pay bonuses in 21/22 and would have to carry over 3.5m in bonuses in 22/23 which would take away from the 22/23 cap. Zibs and Fox get 14m in raises between the two of them in 22/23. The Rangers have to be very concerned not to have bonuses carryover into 22/23.

Where a players WAS drafted has no effect on value. What effects his value is how he's performed and how his current team sees him fitting into their future. Well Lafreniere hasn't performed well to this date and it's been reported that if he can't play the right side in the top 6 that New York doesn't see much in his future in New York.. so they'd look to acquire something that does play in their current and future plans: Toffoli fits that.

Laf is still insanely valuable and there is no way he is traded for Tofolli. He is a raw, but promising player. NYR highly values him.
