Toronto fans without fail with the worst proposals ever. Why do I subject myself to this nonsense still. Hahah. Cheers to the real fans.

I am a leafs and true fan? The leafs can add another B or C level prospect Id be open to that, but the canucks get a 1st, 2nd (similar value statistcally cause it will be in the late 20s) Roni which is a B level prospect, and Kerfy who is a middle six guy on a good deal. You could keep him, he's a hometown guy or trade and get another 2nd. This is a more than fair deal, the canucks are average at best. They're not gonna resign Miller next year so trade him now for lots of value. Like I said I'd be willing to add another decent piece but you're WAY overvaluing both the player and where the canucks is at currently.

they probably won't resign him but more than likely will re-sign him, this deal doesn't move the needle and you know that, Hirvonen is a small left shot center thats quite under a point per game in the Liiga, Doesn't help Van, Kerfoot while a half decent middle 6 guy, we don't need anymore wingers, the 1st will be in the 20s and won't help the team for 3-4 years, so the rest of the package should be exciting and be ready to make up for Miller's value as soon as next year Anderson is a career AHLer and i don't see him making an impact in the NHL at all. Miller is a PPG #1 Center you are going to have give up a huge package that fits our needs if you want a ppg #1 Center for just over 2 and Half mill. Van can simply just not trade him and re-sign the asset next year as he is a very valuable part of our team, Motte is one of the best 4th liners in the league his value is around a late 2nd or an early 3rd. Same with Schenn

Just don't want a pile of crap for Miller. We want at least one asset we can point to a go "sure we traded our best player but we got this" unfortunately this trade is just a pile of the crap that doesn't hurt all to trade and that's why you are in fantasy land proposing it. Then you're having the Canucks retain and throw in two other assets who will garner picks on their own. Come on man. If you want an all star level player, especially 50% retained it starts with an A level prospect and a first.
