The price for eating a 1x2.5 cap dump is not a 2nd. More like a 3rd-4th depending on how high or low the other team will be picking.

What is with VAN fans thinking that Tyler Myers has this value, that PHI would give up a 25 yr old, on a good contract. This is like the 3rd variation of Myers for Koneckny yesterday.

Its not a horrendous value, with a prospect and 3 meh picks, but I don;t think anyone would give up value for Myers on that deal. 6mil for 3 more years at age 32 for declining production and physicality?

Wouldn;t PHI just offer Ristolinen (at age 27) the same deal or a bit more? Myers is an average 2RD being paid 6mil, available at the same time as RD Letang, Justin Schultz, Goligski, DaHann, Petry, Risto, Klingberg, Subban, Stahlman, Manson, Colin Miller, Ethan Bear, DeAngelo and a ton of cheaper 3rd pairing RD like Lyubushkin, Benning, Zadorov, Bortuzzo, Gudbranson, Braun, etc... are available?

Irregardless of how the value on both sides of this trade match up, just don’t think they will move Schneider…he’s seen as a cornerstone piece…and the player who’ll enable them to move on from Trouba a few years out…Lundqvist might eventually be the better player… but his skill set is redundant with NYR…so he’ll be the guy Drury looks to move.

One other consideration: any trade NYR make for Miller, they can also look at losing Strome’s value as well- of course beyond this year…w/o insane retention, no way are Miller and Strome on next years roster.

So you want to discuss degrees of nonsense? Schneider isn't available, period, so constantly including him in your trades makes as much sense as the trade I proposed.

And where precisely the **** did I "**** on" him? I gave feedback on his AGM that was polite as could be.

Ya know, this guy comes in here, makes like 5 AGMs everyday and freaks out like a crybaby toddler at anyone who offers the slightest bit of critique on his ideas. GSTFOOHWYBS.

Oh... and at what point do you realize that YOU are the loser youre grandma was talking about in this case?

You answer my question first. Where do you imagine that I treated him rudely in the slightest in my critique? This dude lashes out at everyone when they don't go along with his trade ideas, so maybe back up and apologize.

He gives you some ideas and you say he’s wrong because of one small piece. He asks you to be constructive instead and you respond by posting on his ACGM with “I’ll do what I want.”

If you think you’re being helpful, you’re wrong.

Says the guy who's made like a hundred AGMs over the last month. And for the record, it's like -5 with four feet of snow on the ground here. So to be able to "go touch grass" at the moment is nothing but a fantasy - not unlike your every offering on this site.
