Oh I totally agree Vegas is not moving Whitecloud. That would just be silly. He's a fine player who will only get better and he'll still be a good bargain once his extension kicks in.

But obviously all of those pieces would not be in the line-up at the same time right now, and the cap issues to be solved extend past this season. So you're 100% right that it would not really help them today. It could certainly help them moving forward, though. My main overall point was nobody should be bending over backwards to help.
