Interesting that you call a 3rd in what’s not supposed to be a great draft an asset but two 2nds in what is a deep 45-60 player draft is stuff while not retaining either. How many teams can take on G at full cap hit?

First of all, as a prefaced from the start. These trades were posted on yahoo. On their nhl page. These are not my trade ideas.

Second, as far the the nyr trade. Both drafts are considered full of talent but no real superstars or generational players. Add in a 29 yr old career minor leaguer and a khl prospect that is talented but looks alot like another brendl or zherdev is good value for a quality player, albeit pending ufa, is good value? I don’t see it.

Luckily none of this is real life.
