They are giving up one of their only good prospects (Finley) and picks. If Tampa trades all their prospects/picks even with the core pieces they have the future will not be too bright. Crouse is not a huge upgrade, but the Lightning are paying a ton (in trade and contract). If they really want to pay him that much they can just OS him in the offseason and give up just a 3rd

And AZ matches think you are undervaluing crouse

If they match you sign someone else to a better deal anyway.

Honestly I think that we can sign Joseph to at least a mil less and have him be (at worst) slightly worse. If you like Crouse that much more than joseph than whatever. It's not my opinion.
