Description

Fletcher says anyone is available for trade and they're looking to aggressively retool.

Konecny would fit on the RW to fill the Batherson void, and he's young enough to keep long-term. White is a former first but needs a change of scenery, Philly could be a perfect opportunity for him with more ice time. I know Sens fans wont like me trading JBD but for the future- Chabot, Sanderson, Zub, Brannstrom, Thompson, Kleven will be a very good defensive core, no need for JBD and he'll have more trade value than thompson/kleven.

If JBD is available ( he definitely shouldn’t be) and I’m the Oilers I’m on the phone right now. Barrie, Foegele, Bourgault, Savoie ( they draft his brother) and a 1st for JBD, Brown and Forsberg.

I know both of them have had their struggles recently and I’m all for acquiring Konecny but JBD and a 2nd is a steep price to pay to upgrade from White to Konecny.

Sign me up for that. Not overly interested in Barrie but Foegele, Bourgault, Savoie and a 1 checks all of my boxes. I know some Sens fans won’t want to ship Brown out but in my books that package helps Ottawa long term. Is Barrie just for cap purposes? If he could get switched out for something else I think that’s a slam dunk.
