Description

This team needs to open up as much cap space as possible for this offseason. Collect assets and try to rebuild. The good news is there is a lot of pieces to be moved with expiring deals. They can sell and rebuild rather quickly if they do this right. I think most of these deals are reasonable, but I am sure I will be told otherwise. Truth is none of us know. The only thing for certain is if Chuck Fletcher is still the GM the Flyers probably do not trade RISTO because it would hurt his little ego too much. FIRE EVERYONE! Rebuild this team.

Risto is not that bad. The Flyers are a bad team, but honestly he is very up and down. If he was with a stable partner and had some sort of structure I believe he would be solid. He shows flashes that he could be really a top-4 D-man on most nights, but then some games looks lost. I would like to bring him back to Philly on a smaller cap and lower term prove it deal like 2x4mil.

You have a cup. I would trade 10 years of mediocrity for 1 cup and consistent heartbreak. At least they were in it for your heart to be broken. The 1 cup cures all imo.

Actually he is pretty bad and has been his entire career. Setting that aside though, Winnipeg isn't going to give up high picks for a rental that would be #4 on the right side and that they couldn't afford to and wouldn't want to re-sign.

He was in Buffalo lol. They haven't been good since like 2011. That is fair if Winnipeg wouldn't give that up but for a RHD that isn't as bad as all the analytical nerds make him out to be that is a fair/bargain price. I was skeptical of him as well when the Flyers got him and yes they did overpay, but the Risto hate is not warranted as much as he gets. He is just frustrating because he shows he has talented.

You should probably look elsewhere to trade Ristolainen. Jets should be selling their UFAs at the deadline as opposed to adding more. The new coach has a worse record than the old coach.

Risto hasnt been that bad this year and I think he could get more. His defensive game hasnt been terrible and GMs love how he is physical. I very well could see him get a first at 50%
