I agree but still have solid core of guys and I think there is other answers than price. we are one of the oldest teams in the league don't want to get ride of a guy who could be a second or first line center of the future

I would not say that if you watch a game you would see a young second round defensemen who plays about 18 minutes a night playing a good defencive game not great offensively but moves puck well and plays shutdown d. also adding many other young guys to the lineup who have played well with minimum time. the front office has proved they can bring in good players. oshie drafted vrana, Wilson has become almost a point per game player.
