No chance in hell that the Avs consider that horrible deal. I doubt Dallas considers either. That is way way way too much to give up for Miller, without retention. Frankly he won’t get that with retention. The stars are trying to get younger, and while Boeser would help, he would be too expensive as long as the Stars big 3 contract remain. Dallas is giving up 3 of their young pieces to get a talented but extremely injury prone guy who they probably wouldn’t even be able to keep. Yeah, totally isn’t slanted in Vancouvers favor.

Come on, 3 roster forward, the top d prospect and a 1st for Miller?😂😂😂😂😂😂. That’s not real, not even remotely real. There isn’t a GM from any team outside of VAN that does that.

I like Boeser but I’d rather wait and see on Stankoven and Dellandrea

Boeser isn't anywhere as injury prone as you're making him out to be

I haven't heard Justin Barron get the same level of Buzz as guys like Nils Lundkvist, Braden Schneider, Jacob Bernard-Docker, Olen Zellweger, or Brandt Clarke. There are better RHD prospects than Barron it sounds like, so I'm not going to attempt to lowball a Miller trade like this

I’m not going to bs, some answer but Barron imo is in Schneider’s class. He fell in his draft year because of a blood clotting issue that was surgically repaired. He’s big can skate, and shoot, but COL has Makar, EJ (love him or hate him) and another right handed prospect in Helleson that is easier to project in COL lineup than Barron because Barron has more offensive upside. For me it isn’t about not liking Miller, it’s how Miller fits into the Avs at that price. Don’t need him at 2C this year, and Newhook is going to be ready to take the 2C role next year, so you’re paying a kings ransom for a guy that in the Avs is a 2nd line winger because you aren’t breaking up the first line, and throw in its highly unlikely he they can re-sign him when MacKinnon, Byram, Newhook, and guys like EJ and Compher are looking for new deals. Maybe I’m wrong but giving up that kind of haul should be more than a guy for a season and a half.
