I'm not convinced that Lundkvist is what we need. Hughes and OEL are the puckmovers that this blue line is built around and if he's going to make it into the top-4 eventually it's going to be with one of them. I don't think he's a fit there and it's why Schneider makes more sense.
I agree with your take on RD; move someone for an equivalent contract that can hopefully bounce back like we did with Gudbranson for Pearson. I don't think Poolman has been as bad as people say and I would prefer Hamonic moves, but I'll take what we can get. We should keep Schenn though. He's a guy who wanted to come here and he actually brings some toughness to the team. He keeps his game simple when playing higher in the lineup and is very cheap. No need to move him considering the return will be a late pick.
I would move Motte but only if we can't re-sign him. If he signs for under 2M for 2-3 years then we should keep him. If he wants to test the market then recoup an asset. I wouldn't be surprised if we got a pick as high as a 2nd for him.
If we have the space then we should absolutely buy a pick with our cap space.
