Personally, I wouldn't have any interest in Kapanen. He's been pretty disappointing this year and doesn't look to be trending up like Copp and will be looking for a raise which he will have trouble living up to.. I don't think Pittsburgh is a good trading partner. They don't really have anything enticing that Winnipeg needs.

Unfortunately, due to Wheelers outrageous contract, Copp can’t be moved.
He’s one of our, what I’m calling optional guys. Player on expiring contract we’d like to keep but due to other needed extensions and raises, might be let go for cap purposes. Due to this we can’t even trade him for players because it causes cap issues next year.
Personally, I’d be ok with moving Copp, (not for any LH players though), but as I said… until our re-signings shake out… we are dead in the water.
