No way Detroit gets a 1st for leddy

Look at the past few years of Detroit trades at deadline. See Tatar for a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Mantha for a 1st, 2nd, Vrana, and Panik
Anathousia for 2x 2nd

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Leddy and Dekeyser get us at minimum 4 picks with one being a 1st

DET fleeced WSH on that deal, but WSH counted on Mantha playing to his potential with a better cast around him. We'll see what happens if he stays healthy.
The other 2 deals were made out of desperation by the other teams.

Leddy and Dekeyser aren't nearly as good as those other players. They're depth guys, not impact guys.

Agreed. I could see maybe a second but it would require 50% retention.

He’s been good for us, and would be good for a playoff team as an extra top4. But he doesn’t produce like he used to (part of that might be he plays for us though)

Ddk isn’t good enough for the NHL let alone to get value in a trade. The bionic man can’t keep up with his injuries and he doesn’t pass the eye test - has to be hard carried by Seider every shift.

He shouldn’t even be in the same conversation as leddyz

Regardless of what happens here the Wings will be a team to be watched again sooner than later here.
