Description
I know E. Kane is piece of work and that Sweeney would probably never bring him to Boston but that lineup would a real force in the playoffs.

Maybe your GM does. Hertl has a 3 team trade list. If the Bruins are on that list you're kind of handcuffed.

1. SJ should have zero interest in DeBrusk for reasons I've explained in other threads, Moore is a cap dump, that leaves a late 1st and a C prospect.

2. Hertl would never waive for Boston if Kane is on it.

He will waive to play for a cup this year, he has already said he wants to be playing in the playoffs. And neither of those prospects are intriguing enough for me to want to move Hertl.

1. Do you think you're going to get a high first round pick? Only a team in the playoffs would make a move for Hertl and he'd probably only waive for a contender. Also, Bruins pick will be decent as they will be a wild card team.

2. Probably right... but I just added him in there to see what the lines would look like. Remove Kane and 3rd line would be Foligno/Haula-Coyle-Steen.

They won’t get an early pick for him, it will be late due to him being traded to a playoff team which is fine. It’s the rest of the return that’s the issue

Funny they called about him when he asked for a trade though. Guess you don’t speak for them.

You are right about #2 though.

A late first is inevitable since he wants to play for a competitor, it would have to include a much better prospect, and if just a bit better, than another pick as well, that's the way I see this going.

There haven't been any signs he really willing to flex his trade protection, and assuming he would is a big if, and if so, I'm pretty sure Boston wouldn't be one of those teams if they aren't solidly in the playoffs by then.

I never heard they called on him, but why wouldn’t they? If they could trade like a 3rd for him I think every team would pull the trigger. But Boston wants a player back and the sharks don’t have anyone to give up even if they wanted to.

Again…you do you. Live in your bubble. 🤷🏻‍♂️

There were 15 teams that supposedly called Boston within 48 hours of Debrusk demanding a trade. The article listed the teams they were aware of, about half of the 15. San Jose was one of them. Go cry about it. Don’t care.

Ah yes the one who describes an article that doesn't seem to exist, and claims they don't have the time to find said article, complains about someone else living in a bubble.

Your entire rebuttal relies on a claim you refuse to show evidence of. Pretty telling.

Keep responding, you seem to care.
