Description

Giroux and Monahan+Prospect are basically a wash, but PHI gets a 2nd for eating some salary but kick in a 4th Rd Pick for Monahan's remaining contract.

Giordano returns for one more kick at the can... Gio/Badorov are a wash contract wise, but the 2nd Rd Pick is for the salary retention.

Does Giroux still play steady centre? Last time I checked he has moved primarily to LW, making this acquisition sort of questionable for me.....

he does both as needed. when they got hayes a few years ago he started playing more wing on couturier’s line but he’s played a good amount of center this season from my observation
