I don't think that Jakob Chychrun is available, but let's just play along with the current pre-Christmas fad.

Although I'm using the 2021-2022 roster, this is the team I see going forward into 2022-2023. I don't think that Chychrun would be a good partner for Doughty unless the team is behind in the third period. "Scratches" are alternative possibilities for the Chychrun trade; I have them on the side because I think that they are not essential to the team going forward despite their value as depth players.

Future Plans: I think Dustin Brown will re-sign, but not for anything near his current cap hit, hence his placement on the IR list here. (Note that there will be $11 million in cap space available, less what we pay Brown and the raises given to the RFA's, all of whom I expect to keep.) Guys shown on the LTIR list are those I think will be gone after this season. I'm hoping that Byfield and Vilardi will play their way onto the team in training camp.

I know that some of my fellow Kings fans will say That's Too Much, but in the spirit of the season, we should give 'til it hurts, especially to those less fortunate than ourselves.
