Ik provorov is sick but no way wpg moves scheifele right now he's way too valuable to our team and we already have a future elite d man in morrissey so it's a no from wpg but we would be down to make a trade for morin sanheim or myers using connor or roslovic as it would be mutually beneficial

I wouldn't move Provorov for anyone (outside of the elite few obviously). He has the potential to be a top 5 D man in the entire league. Outstanding D are much harder to come by IMO.

you wouldn't trade Schheifle for Provorov?! Provorov is truly elite. Couturier is a solid defensive forward. I think if a rumor got out that they rejected this trade, I would throw a mutiny on my general manager.

The point is that Winnipeg already has a franchise C in their hands. With him gone, who fills in for him? No one. Because you can't. Sure they get Provorov but it wouldn't make sense for the Jets to do that.

Couple things wrong with the comments here. Provorov is not elite, but he has elite potential. I wouldn't trade him either especially when packaged with Coots for anyone in the league - apart from the main young guys. The AMac buyout is not the smartest thing to do and hurts this team in the future really BAD. You are talking about a cap hit that takes up two ELCs/replacement player salaries for 6 years! AWFUL CAP MANAGEMENT. Let it ride out for the next three and if you want to bring someone up, placing him in the AHL clears the space to bring a guy up use your head.

Personally, I don't like the G trade but that is just me I guess..
