lol My thoughts are trade value makes sense.

Line up wise I would move McLeod back to the AHL. Foegele is too god for 4th line minutes and Shore is your 4LW when he is back

I agree. Shore has played like the ideal 4th liner. Teams looks better when he is in the lineup. Kassian looked good last game, but I think later on into the season, he's best served in a bottom 6 role. Nice to have him bump into the top 6 whenever the team needs a new look though.
If they made a deal for DeBrusk, I think this would be the lines:

Hyman-McD-JP
Nuge-Drai-Yamo/DeBrusk
Foegele-McLeod-Yamo/DeBrusk
Shore-Ryan-Kassian

Don't mind this. Think I would put Hyman on the Right of McDavid and put Debrusk on LW there.

Nuge Drai JP might be the sweet line.
Foegele McLeod and Yamo. (Foegele flips with Debrusk if that doesn't work)

At this point McLeod had out played Ryan who is quickly becoming this yrs Turris

I'd flip Hyman and Jake, Hyman is a right shot so it puts both players on their natural side

Agree with you on McLeod but does he play 4C then? That's worse than him playing top line AHL minutes IMO

McLeod has been the best bottom 6 centre and has excelled since been bumped up to 3rd line centre, if Nuge was going to be bumped down to the third line I'd still play him on the wing and McLeod as the centre, McLeod makes that third line dangerous because of his speed and he can transport the puck and pushes the D back with his speed and he's like 53% in the dot compared to 38% for Nuge, if they did acquire Jake, Hyman would need to be moved over to the right side his natural position, Foegele to good to be on the fourth line

Easy no from Edmonton. DeBrusk is super expensive, isn't physical, doesn't win board battles, doesn't defend at all and continues to get called out publicly by his coaches for lack of effort. On top of that, he has like a $4.4M qualifying offer next summer, guaranteeing that he goes unqualified and become a UFA.

Benson at least can defend like a demon and gives maximum effort every shift.
