Description
Avoiding taking out key players from what’s working, would like to see the leafs try something like this at the deadline. More can be added if needed to the Domi trade. Schenn trade is just for some defensive depth for playoffs.

A little over the cap but the hope is to accrue enough space over the season to make up for that. If not you can try to pass Schenn through waivers.

    Probably better to move Mikheyev than Engvall at that point. He wanted more responsibility/minutes and requested a trade. He won't be happy sitting in the press box and there's no way that works out well for anyone. Could probably get something back for a rental on him too.
