I can't see why Strome would go straight for a 2nd rn, his stock is so low and his cap hit is enough to cause problems for a team like the Oil. Make it Turris and a 3rd and it might make sense. Idk if there is a fit there though.

The difference between Holl and Murphy is nowhere close to Ritchie, 1st, and a 2nd. Seems like a pretty easy decline for Toronto here.

You say “annual” like he did it more than once…. He had one 30 goal season his first year in the league. 30 goals in his first 68 games was great but 20 goals in his next 70 games isn’t as nice. He may never hit 30 again and I doubt anyone pays the price you want for him if you’re selling him as as annual 30 goal scorer.

Last year he was on pace for 25 G and 69 Points had it not been a shortened season. Well worth the package i've described

Last year he was on pace for 24 goals and 55 points... not 69. This year he's on pace for 17 goals and 41 points (so far). Even in his 30 goal rookie season he was only on pace for 55 points.

If he was a 70 point player this wouldnt be a question. If he was a 30 goal guy it wouldnt be a question either. So far in his career he hasnt proven that he can be either.
