That’s actually a pretty good trade, but lindholm would be on the first pair. I don’t really think the rangers are good enough to make this kind of move. Even with that improvement, theyre still not winning anything.

Gauthier isn't as good a RW prospect as Jacob Perreault (and at 24, it's charitable to consider him still a prospect), Gettinger isn't as good a prospect as Brayden Tracey, and Reunanen is your third-best LD prospect behind Zach Jones and Matt Robertson at a position where we already have Jacob Larsson, Josh Mahura and Simon Benoit in the NHL and Brendan Guhle, Jackson LaCombe, Henry Thrun and Oden Zellweger in the pipeline, so the sum total of those youngsters isn't all that appealing. Now I'm not saying that we should get a first, a second and Morgan Barron or Braden Schneider for Rakell and Lindholm, but that return isn't all that impressive.
