Klingberg is the best defender in the league.

Klinger gets dumped on in Bowness’ system. Put him on a more offensive/dynamic team and watch his numbers go back up to where they were a few years ago

Oh, so it’s the same type of stand as Seth Jones

9.5 million til he’s 36 years old, you’d better hope he does well in another system

Klingberg doesn’t fit our system we seem to me more into defensive defencemen which Klingberg isn’t and I’m not willing to give him 9M next year we’re already in cap hell

In the last 3 years Klingberg has more points than Murphy has in his whole NHL career. If we’re comparing points throughout their whole careers, Klingberg has 217 more points in 16 less games. I don’t care how better Murphy is defensively than Klingberg the gap between both their offensive games is way too big to close the gap.

Look at Chicago’s system they don’t seem to be into offensive defensemen as much as defensive ones
